Know more before your visit

Anodyne for patients

Send photos of your teeth to get a simple report of areas suspected of decay and a suggested visit window. The report does not replace an examination; it helps you go to the dentist better informed.

How does Anodyne help you?

A simple, understandable report

A summary of the situation, the teeth that need attention and the suggested window to see a dentist.

Ask about the report

Ask about the report details in the text consultation; answers do not replace an in-person examination.

Book an appointment online

See member clinics, doctors and open times and book your appointment online.

How do I take a clear photo of my teeth?

Enough light

Take the photo in daylight or under white light; avoid a direct flash that causes reflections.

Pull back the lips and cheeks

With a clean finger or someone's help, pull back the lips and cheeks so the tooth surfaces are fully visible.

Focus and distance

Hold the phone steady, focus on the teeth and avoid heavy digital zoom.

Several different views

Send 1 to 3 clear photos from different angles so more tooth surfaces are visible.

When should you not wait for a report?

If you have severe, persistent pain, facial or gum swelling, fever, bleeding or a blow to a tooth, see a dentist or medical center as soon as possible instead of sending photos. Anodyne is not designed for emergencies.
