Light, focus and angle affect what information is visible. Hidden areas and many problems between teeth cannot be fully assessed from a regular photo. The absence of a finding in the report does not confirm that all teeth are healthy.
The difference between a suggested code and a clinical ICDAS assessmentDetails of access, image retention and report sharing are explained in the privacy policy. The patient's name may appear in the PDF; when sending the file, check the recipient and the patient's consent.
